Refer a Patient for Oral Appliance Therapy

Who We Treat

We accept referrals for adult patients with mild-to-moderate obstructive sleep apnea confirmed by a physician-ordered sleep study (home or in-lab polysomnogram), including patients who are CPAP-intolerant, CPAP-averse, or seeking a travel-friendly alternative. More severe cases may still be candidates for combination therapy (oral appliance plus CPAP at a lower pressure) — we're glad to discuss borderline cases directly with the referring provider.

What Happens After a Referral

We schedule a consultation and airway screening, review the patient's sleep study, and evaluate dental and periodontal suitability for an appliance. If appropriate, we take a digital scan, fabricate a custom Panthera D-SAD device, and manage titration and follow-up care. We send a summary back to the referring physician or sleep center after the initial fitting and at any point care coordination is needed — efficacy is typically reassessed with a follow-up sleep study, which we help coordinate.

Call 212-877-7475 or send us a message online with the patient's contact information and, if available, a copy of their sleep study. We'll handle scheduling directly with the patient and keep you informed of their care.
