How It Works

Rather than placing one implant per missing tooth, All-on-4 uses just four strategically positioned implants (two straight, two angled) to support an entire arch of replacement teeth. The angled placement in the back of the mouth is what allows just four implants to support a full arch, and it often reduces or eliminates the need for bone grafting that a different approach might require.

Who It's Typically Right For

Good candidates are usually patients who are missing most or all of their teeth in an arch, or who have multiple failing teeth that aren't realistically salvageable, and who want a fixed (non-removable) solution rather than a traditional denture. Adequate jawbone density in the specific spots the implants will anchor matters, though the angled-implant approach often works around bone loss that would rule out other implant methods.
